HAVING won just one game in each of the past two seasons, Bendigo United is a solid batting performance away from making a 2-0 start to its Bendigo District Cricket Association campaign.

With a round one win over White Hills already under their belt, the Redbacks have a gettable target to chase against Sandhurst at the usually batsman-friendly Weeroona Oval on Saturday.
The Redbacks need 207 off 85 overs to not only win, but also consign Sandhurst to a 0-2 start.
White Hills faces the most arduous of BDCA tasks on Saturday as it pursues Kangaroo Flat's mammoth 6-386 at Scott Street.
