The 21-year-old from Brisbane returns to the tournament after a strong year on the court which has seen her achieve a career-high world ranking of 118 and played in three of the four grand slams.
In addition other Australians and other top players will be in action at the tournament hosted by the Fosterville Gold Tennis Centre.
"We're rapt to be able to host the tournament here," centre general manager James Rouel said.
"In addition to the great Australians, there will be the second, third and fourth ranked Japanese players coming over the competition."
The field also includes a raft of international players Asia Muhammad (USA), Su Jeong Kang (KOR) and Australians Zoe Hives, Lizette Cabrera, Maddison inglis, Destanee Aiava, Kaylah McPhee and Olivia Rogowska.
"We will have a really strong field for the tournament," Rouel said.
"Priscilla went on to play in the Australian Open after the tournament last year and we're very happy to see her come back to defend her title.
The tennis centre's grand stand will give spectators optimum views to catch all of the action.
"With our new grand stand we're hoping to have a large crowd down here during the tournament."
Rouel said it wouldn't have been possible to host the tournament without assistance from volunteers and Tennis Australia.
"Behind the scenes Tennis Australia has been fantastic, none of it would be possible without their help," he said.
"And of course to bring an event of this size to the City of Greater Bendigo wouldn't be possible without our hardworking volunteers."
Qualification rounds begin on Monday with the first round set to start on Tuesday.
