The preview will be held ahead of a screening of the Wizard of Oz on Tuesday, October 1. It will also celebrate the 80th anniversary of the iconic film.
It is the only chance to get a glimpse of the show before it opens at Ulumbarra on October 25.
Melissa Harrington, who plays the lead role of Elphaba, said while the performance wouldn't give too much of the plot away, it would show how big the show will be.
"The performances people are going to see and the detail of it (are amazing)," Harrington said. "The scale of it... nothing like this has ever attempted by a local company.
"The show is such a huge show that you (have) to give everything you have. It's the biggest thing I've done and it's quite nerve-wracking."

Harrington, who grew up in Bendigo but now resides in Melbourne, is back with BTC for the first time in 10 years.
Her last BTC performance was All Shook Up but she was in an independent Bendigo production of Title of Show in 2015.
"It's a long drive but definitely worth the trip," she said. "It's nice to be involved in such a quality show in Bendigo."
"I haven't had the chance to perform at Ulumbarra. I always said if they did Wicked I would have to seriously debate coming home to do it."
The community will be getting behind BTC's Wicked from October 1 with a number of local businesses offering green, Wicked-inspired products.
The Rifle Brigade will offer a Wicked XPA beer, Elmore Bakery has Wicked donuts and Hustler and Flight Bar have created signature burgers.
The Wine Bank, The Woodhouse, Quarry Hill Cafe and the Old Green Bean have all created signature drinks.
Wicked tells the story of the witches of Oz, before and after Dorothy and her dog Toto came on the scene.
It is on from October 25 to November 3. Tickets are available through Capital Venues and Events.
