FOR Sandhurst's Tess Keating, there has been little chance to reflect on her joint Sing Medal win as the BFNL's 17-and-under best and fairest netballer.

The humble and hard-working teenager is more focused on trying to lead the Dragons to a grand final win against Golden Square this Saturday at the QEO.
Like their A-grade club-mates, the Dragons 17-and-under players will be chasing a slice of history, aiming for a third consecutive premiership.
Keating, who tied with Gisborne's Olivia Rodda in the league best and fairest, said while the Dragons had beaten the Bulldogs by 23-goals in their last match, she expected the grand final to be a much tighter contest.
"Square is a fantastic team and played a really great game against Gisborne on the weekend, and Gisborne is a great team, so you can never go in too confident," she said.
"We will go in with our normal preparation and focus and see how it goes."
Keating viewed the young Dragons's strength as their evenness across the playing ranks.
"No one girl is the difference, we have strong and awesome players throughout the court - that makes us a great team," she said.
"We are all really encouraging and all really believe in each other.
"It's a good team to be around."
Only injury prevented Keating, who is in her fifth season of juniors at Sandhurst, from being a part of all three grand final teams. She missed the 2017 triumph over Maryborough with torn ligaments.
Despite the versatile youngster making her mark at both ends of the court during the season, the 17-year-old declared her Sing Medal win as a surprise.
"I had been playing netball in Melbourne with school (Catherine McAuley College) all day before I got the call to say I had won," she said.
"To be honest, I am the one who is usually counting all the votes for everyone else, but I forgot this year and won."
The Dragons skipper insisted she had no preference at which end of the court she lined up at on Saturday, and would leave the decision to her coach Rose Gallagher.
"I'll just do my job," she said.
