After leading her side to a second-straight HDFNL A-grade flag, the 21-year-old considered herself blessed to be hoisting the premiership coach aloft alongside her coach Lauren Bowles and as a representative of her close team-mates.
"I am quite young and to be given the opportunity to captain these girls for the second year in a row is extremely special and it's something I don't take lightly," Wee-Hee said.
"I try my best to do what I can to step up and be a leader.
"To get two wins in a row as captain is something I will never forget.
"It's great having Rhian (Moresi) as vice-captain, who is a wonderful leader herself. And having Loz as coach, she guides me as a true-born leader."
The Demons withstood a spirited challenge from their arch-rival Colbinabbin, but were able to prevail 48-38, after a strong second-half.
Wee-Hee said she had stressed the need to not take the foot of the pedal as the Demons entered the final quarter with a nine-goal lead.
"Colbo is a team that does come back firing and it's only two of three turnovers that can make or break you," she said.
A 10-goal triumph capped a remarkable day for the club, which also won premierships in the A-reserve, B-grade and B-reserve matches.
"There's something special in the water at White Hills at the moment, and it's a great thing to be a part of," Wee-Hee said.
"As anyone will tell you, we all get along, and we are a real family-orientated club.
"To get those four (senior) netball flags two years in a row is something very special.
"Our motto going out today was 'give it your all' and that's what all four netball teams did.
"It's extremely special and something we will all remember for a long time to come."
