Officers believe an unknown male offender attended a Loch Street business about 2.40am.
He gained entry to the premises and searched through drawers before leaving in a sedan without stealing anything.
He is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance with a solid build.
He was wearing a dark coloured zip up tracksuit top with a logo on the left upper chest area, dark coloured tracksuit pants with a logo on the left upper leg, white Puma runners with a white stripe, and a dark coloured baseball cap with white diagonal stripes and a logo on the back.
Detectives from the from Central Goldfields Crime Investigation Unit have released images of the vehicle, and a man who they believe may be able to assist with their enquires.
