The Demons led for all but a brief moment of Saturday's game at Barrack Reserve in Heathcote, when scores were tied at 1-1 in the opening minutes.
They never looked back after back-to-back goals to Ashley Gilmore gave the reigning premiers a quick 3-1 lead - the Demons were never headed.
White Hills turned a four-goal quarter time lead into 10 at half-time and 11 by three-quarter time, on the way to a commanding 50-37 win.
The margin and precision with which it was achieved suggests the Demons will again be hard to stop if the great rivals meet again in a fortnight's time in a fourth-straight grand final.
An intense and - at times - physical game brought out the best in the Demons, with star goal keeper and newly crowned HDFNL league medallist Anna Grace-Close apportioning praise to all nine Demons, who stepped onto the court.
"I thought for four quarters we played our game and played strong, hard netball," she said.
"The girls really drove hard and wanted that ball.
"One of the real positives was capitalising on our lead, which was something we've worked on since or last game against Colbinabbin. We were eight up and ended up drawing.
"It does feel good to secure the win, but the one we really want to get is in two weeks.
"We'll go away and work hard these next two weeks and hopefully look at the footage and really work on how we can get better."
A key again for the Demons was the dominance of their goaling tandem of Gilmore and Rhian Moresi, who finished with 34 and 16 goals respectively.
Gilmore was particularly lethal in the second half with 19 goals, including nine of 10 goals for her side in the final quarter, and was brilliantly fed throughout by Moresi and midcourters Dannie Wee-Hee and Lauren Bowles.
"Rhian and Ash have tremendous accuracy and are a fantastic combination," Close said.
"Something we have focused on this year has been our strong driving to the ring.
"Ash starred today. She wanted to play a big game and she did."
For Colbinabbin, a second chance awaits against Elmore, which defeated Huntly 41-36 in Sunday's first semi-final at North Bendigo.
The loss was the Grasshoppers' first this season.
Naturally disappointed, coach Georgie Rodger said her side would quickly move on from the defeat and re-set their sights on trying to secure another grand final berth.
"I felt we were a bit flat bringing it out of defence into attack and let them run over us when we should have re-set and started again," she said.
"There's a lot of positives I think we can take from it. We worked a new goaler (Martine Rodger) in, who hasn't really played a lot this season.
"With the pressure of finals it was nice to have that depth to be able to bring players in and bring off."
Rodger said she had already identified areas in which improvements were needed.
"Their speed was something we struggled with a bit; we were a bit flat-footed in that conversion and when they brought it out of defence," she said.
"We will be working on slowing that down and making sure there's pressure all the way down the court.
"The reality is we have another game to play next week and we can scrap what happened today and start again.
"I'm happy we have another chance; if today was our last we'd be bitterly disappointed."
