Bendigo Pioneers' duo Brodie Kemp and Maeve Tupper have earned high praise for their 2019 seasons.
Kemp was named centre half-forward in the NAB League boys team of the year, while Tupper was selected on the interchange bench in the NAB League girls team of the year.
Kemp only played three games for the Pioneers in 2019, but was one of Victoria Country's best players at the national under-18 carnival.
His season finished early when he suffered a knee injury in school football.

The midfielder was in the Pioneers' under-18 girls best players in eight of the club's nine matches this year.
Tupper polled 10 votes to finish equal eighth in the NAB League girls best and fairest award behind Calder's Georgir Prespakis.
Western Jets' Lucas Rocci won the Morrish Medal in the under-18 boys with 17 votes.
Thomson Dow polled six votes to be the Pioneers' leading vote-getter.
Sam Conforti and James Schischka were next best with five votes.
Aaron Gundry, Josh Treacy and Jack Ginnivan polled four votes each.
