THE Bendigo Thunder ended their Northern Football League Women's season on a high on Sunday with a 30-point win over Bundoora.
The Thunder won 6.7 (43) to 2.1 (13) at Yulong Reserve.
After losing their first eight games of the season, the Thunder split their last four 2-2 in the competition's top division.
"It has been a tough season results-wise on the field, but it has been a really enjoyable year," Thunder coach Luis Alvarez-Harris said.

"The girls have learned plenty and really improved, so I'm proud of them and it was great they have been able to finish on a positive."
Sunday's tally of 43 was the Thunder's highest score of the season and featured a haul of four goals from Georgia Gordon.
Emily Taylor across half-forward was the best for the Thunder, who have re-appointed Alvarez-Harris for a third season as coach.
