Damaging winds with peak gusts of up to 90 to 100 km/h could hit parts of central Victoria as a cold front sweeps across the state.
The winds are forecast to develop across elevated parts of western and central Victoria as well as along the Otway coast late on Saturday.
They are expected to average 60 to 70 km/h, but could reach 90 to 100 km/h.
Winds will ease from the west during Sunday morning after the cold front moves through.
Kyneton is among the places that could be affected.
The State Emergency Service advises people in the warning area move vehicles under cover or away from trees, put away or secure loose items outdoors, and keep clear of fallen power lines.
