WITH the Australian Sheep and Wool Show comes the Artisans Textile Festival - a showcase of what can be achieved with high-quality textiles and fibres and some knowledge of how to use them.
Ten stall holders will be sharing their skills with attendees during the event, which is in its eighth year.
Artisan Lisa Howard hoped the festival would inspire people to learn something new, or rekindle their passion for a craft.
She said there was a resurgence of interest in some of the crafts to be displayed, which include knitting, crochet, spinning and weaving.

Garments, textiles and fibres will also be available for purchase.
The festival will be staged at the North Bendigo Bowls Club from 9am - 6pm on Friday and Saturday and from 9am to 3pm on Sunday.
The bowls club is at 42 Fenton Street, North Bendigo.
Entry is not ticketed, but organisers said a gold coin donation would be appreciated.
