Tickets have gone on sale for Bendigo's 2019 Biggest Ever Blokes Lunch, a fundraising event for prostate cancer research.
Committee chairman Neil Macdonald said the lunch was an awareness campaign for men to have an annual check up as well as a fundraiser.
"The importance of the lunch is to raise funds for the research to find a cure for prostate cancer," Mr Macdonald said.
"Also as an awareness campaign for guys to have an annual check up so they've got a gauge on their health.
"Early detection [of prostate cancer] leads to a better outcome."
Guest speakers include former St Kilda football player Barry Breen, former Carlton Football Club captain and centre half forward Mark Maclure and comedian The Suburban Footballer Tom Siegert.
Bendigo's Biggest Ever Blokes Lunch will take place on November 22, at the Bendigo Stadium.
