CMC tackles school football power St Patrick's College, Ballarat, at Highgate Recreation Reserve, in Craigieburn.
St Patrick's won six-straight Herald-Sun Shield premierships from 2010-2015 and has played in the past 10 grand finals.
CMC has won the title once - 27 years ago in 1992.

With regular coach Lee Coghlan on leave, CMC will be coached by former Sandhurst defender Matt Smith.
The winner of Wednesday's semi-final will advance to next month's grand final at the MCG.
