Athletes raced 8km on a course near the Bendigo Livestock Exchange.
A great run by Douglass was capped by being the overall winner and fastest female.
From a handicap mark of 13:40, Douglass started strongly and worked her way to pass her rivals.
Peter Le Busque did his best to keep up with Douglass but couldn't quite match her as he finished six seconds adrift in second place, but his best run this season.
Third place went to Andrew Sait after being runner-up the previous round.
Nick Edwards contested his first race this season after joining the Army earlier this year. Edwards showed he will be a force to be reckoned with in the second half of the season when he has time off base.
Dale Lowe capped another strong run by being fifth.
Next Sunday the BAC is at Woodvale Recreation Reserve for a 6.5km run.
