Heathcote secured its first win of the season with an eight-goal victory over Lockington Bamawm United, final scores 41-33.
"We're certainly happy with the win as we've had a lot of close games in previous rounds," coach Lorrae Closter said.
"We've been building towards it and we're happy we finally got it.
"Everyone was really happy, not only the girls on court, but all of the girls who work off the court for the club as well."
The first time the teams met in round one, the Cats defeated the Saints with a narrow two-goal margin.
"Hopefully the girls can gain more confidence from the win," Closter said.
"We're a club that unfortunately hasn't been that successful in previous years...so it would be great to take the win from this week and roll it into the next few weeks.
"It's made us hungry, so hopefully we can pin a few more."
