The Veteran Vintage Classic Car Club of Bendigo put on the showcase of cars from the United Kingdom to celebrate the Tudors to Windsors exhibition at the Bendigo Art Gallery.
Among the many vehicles stopping passers-by was George Dawon's Bedford bus.
Mr Dawson spent three years restoring the bus after driving one in Raywood during the 1950s.
"I drove one exactly like this from 1953 as a school bus in Raywood," he said. "Because I drove one in 1953, that's the attachment."
"Over three years replace front panels with fibreglass, they were originally aluminium. I reconditioned the engine as well."
As well as the Bedford bus a Zephyr, Morris models and a 1911 Talbot were on display.
"It's amazing see people come through saying 'my grandfather had one of these'," display co-ordinator Neil Athorn said. "Seeing these old cars takes (people) back and they tell a good story about (the cars). The (car club) members enjoy that."
