The Braves women (13-1) will be first on the court against Ballarat Rush (5-8).
"It's awesome to have the opportunity to play in front of our home crowd this weekend," Braves women's coach Megan Moody said.
"Any team is capable of winning each week in the NBL1 and all of the teams have some amazing players running around."
The match against the Rush is not just any game, it's the battle of the Goldfields.
"The two clubs are very proud and have a lot of history," Moody said.
"It's always a match where both teams really want to win, we've got a great round ahead of us."
Braves women head into the match on the back of a strong 76-57 win over the Albury-Wodonga Bandits last weekend.
"Defensive intensity is something we have been trying to focus on and last week we did a solid job of it," Moody said.
"We will continue to build on it this week and I will be looking for everyone to step up and give strong contributions like they did last week."
Moody said there were several Ballarat players which the team was focused on ahead of the match.
Joy Burke (Bao Hsi-le), Olivia Hackmann and Chanise Jenkins are on the radar.
"In addition to all of the other Ballarat players - they are all putting up good numbers," Moody said.
"Ballarat has a solid group and are playing good basketball together.
"We will need to lock-down those three and not allow anyone to go out and have a big night on us."
The Braves women will still be without star player Nadeen Payne who is out due to injury, but new recruit Tess Madgen will make her first game appearance for the squad.
Braves men's (7-7) will have a tough task on their hands when they go up against top of the ladder Miners (11-2).
"Ballarat are the best offensive, defensive, rebounding and shot blocking team in the league," Braves men's coach David Hogan said.
"Our training this week has been fairly normal, but with an emphasis on what they do as a team and what we need to do to be able to stop them."
The Braves men will also head into the home court match with confidence after a 93-83 win over the Bandits.
"Last week was a big win for us over Albury," he said. "Probably one of the most complete team performances of the year so far."
"We were missing some key players, so it took everyone to contribute which was definitely a major factor for us to win that game."
The team was without captain Ray Turner for the match, but he will return to the court on Saturday night.
"Ray is back which brings a lot of confidence to the boys and give us a weapon inside the paint," Hogan said.
The match marks the one year anniversary of the opening of the new Bendigo Stadium, women tip off at 5.30pm, followed by the men at 7.30pm.
