Motorists travelling into Bendigo will be detoured for four days, Vicroads has advised.
They will need to follow detour signage down Plumridge, Dundas, Bobs and Buller streets.
Northbound traffic will not be impacted but drivers are being reminded that Weeroona Avenue and Knight Street are closed in both directions at Napier Street until late June.
More news:
Heavy vehicles are advised to follow the signed detour routes.
Traffic controllers are on site with speeds set at 40km/h for the safety of the community and roadworkers. All works are weather and temperature dependent, so dates and times may change.
