Jade Mangino pleaded guilty to unlawful assault, failing to answer bail, theft of a motor vehicle, criminal damage and handling stolen goods in relation to offences committed in 2016.
The Bendigo Magistrates' Court heard Mangino jumped on the bonnet of a vehicle and shattered its windscreen in Kyabram late on March 11.
People saw the crime, one of whom Mangino then punched - an incident witnessed by police.
They had to use pepper spray during their arrest.
After his arrest Mangino was co-operative, and told police he had "snapped" and assaulted the victim because he had been followed.

The month before, Mangino had stolen a vehicle from his former employer in Queensland and drove to Victoria, stowing a firearm at Cheshunt before arriving in Tongala.
He was later arrested and showed police where the firearm was hidden.
Then in May, he stole a vehicle in Victoria. It was found dumped in Singleton, New South Wales, the following day.
Mangino was sentenced to a minimum two years' imprisonment in the County Court in April for aggravated burglary and other offences.
Magistrate Patrick Southey said he was reluctant to interfere with the sentence of a higher court, so imposed a concurrent term of imprisonment that would still appear on Mangino's record.
Mr Southey sentenced Mangino to four months' jail, to be served alongside his current sentence.
