The teams played two enthralling battles last year, with CMC winning the preliminary round game by 15 points before BSSC gained revenge three weeks later with a thrilling three-point win in the grand final.
Despite being without key duo Ben Worme and James Mittell, CMC goes into this year's game as favourite.
CMC will be captained by Bendigo Pioneers and Golden Square defender/midfielder Zack Shelton.
CMC also has the servies of in-form Pioneers' trio Aaron Gundry, Sam Conforti and Will Wallace.
Fresh from best on ground honours in Saturday's BFNL under-18 inter-league game with Outer East, speedy midfielder Alex Jenkyn will skipper BSSC.
Braydon Vaz, Lucas Caccaviello and Caleb Fisher are among the players to watch for BSSC.
Basketballer Kai Daniels is making a return to football to take the first ruck role for BSSC.
Wednesday's game starts at 12.30pm at the QEO.
