THE Bendigo Pioneers will be aiming to halt a four-game losing streak and return to the winner's list when they play a home game at Echuca's Victoria Park.
The Pioneers (2-4) will clash with the Sandringham Dragons (4-2) from 1pm in round eight of the NAB League on Saturday.
After making a positive start to the season with back-to-back wins in rounds one and two, the Pioneers have since lost four in a row - two by less than a kick against Tasmania last weekend and the Northern Knights.
The Pioneers will be determined to make an early impact on Saturday having been outscored 50-7 in first quarters in their past two games and forced to play catch-up football.
The Pioneers' team named on Thursday featured seven inclusions into an extended squad of 26 - Sam McGlone, Noah Walsh, Jack Merrin, Kye Attwell, Liam Latch, Cooper Smith and Riley Wilson
