A man has escaped serious injury after he was accidentally tipped into a garbage truck at Kerang.
The man was sleeping in a skip bin at the rear of an op shop when it was emptied into the truck about 7.50am Friday.
The driver noticed the man at the next stop and called emergency services.
Kerang CFA brigade captain Ramon Steel said the man was relatively unhurt, due to a soft landing, but the truck was too slippery for him to climb out.
