The injury woes continue to mount for HDFNL heavyweights Colbinabbin and North Bendigo.
Colbo key forward Ryan Hon will miss the remainder of the season because of a serious foot injury, while veteran Bulldog Brady Herdman is out for a month because of a hamstring injury.
Hon's absence leaves Colbo without three of its top four forwards, with Daniel Connors (hamstring) and Hugh Hamilton (shoulder) also on the sidelines.
Hon injured his foot while kicking a brilliant goal in the Grasshoppers loss to LBU on Good Friday.
"Honny goes under the knife today and he'll miss the rest of the season,'' Colbo coach Julian Bull said.
"It's the fifth time he's had a reconstruction - two shoulders, a knee, a wrist and now his foot."
The Grasshoppers also face the prospect of being without classy midfielder Sam Vale for at least a month because of a back injury.
"It's a slipped disc and he's had it before,'' Bull said.
"It comes right when it comes right. Last time it took four weeks, but that doesn't mean it will be four weeks this time around.
"Best case scenario for us is four weeks."

North Bendigo coach Matt Dillon said Herdman, premiership star Tyson Findlay and ruckman Ryan Gow won't be on the park for another month.
Meanwhile, a return date for midfielder Lachlan Ford (foot) remains unknown.
"We have a bye and the inter-league weekend coming up, so that helps us,'' Dillon said.
"Brady Herdman hasn't injured his hamstring badly, but we're not going to rush him back.
"It's the same hamstring he did in the pre-season, so we'll be cautious.
"We're probably looking at the second week back after inter-league."
Herdman had made a brilliant return after a year out of the game, kicking 18 goals in two-and-a-half games before injuring his hamstring late in the second quarter of Saturday's win over White Hills.
It's a similar story for Findlay, who hasn't played a game this season because of a broken hand.
"Tyson is doing everything he can to get back as quickly as he can,'' Dillon said.
"Gow's injury is similar to Tyson, but he did it in round one, so he'll probably be back three to four weeks after Tyson."
The Bulldogs travel to Toolleen this Saturday to play the improving Mt Pleasant, while Colbinabbin has the bye.
In other HDFNL round four matches, Leitchville-Gunbower is at home to Lockington-Bamawm United, Huntly takes on Heathcote and the struggling White Hills hosts Elmore.
