Police to investigate Kerang house fire

Firefighters were called to a Hawthorne Court address about 8pm today.

They arrived within about four minutes to find a single storey brick house involved in flame.

A Country Fire Authority spokesperson said the fire spread to the roof.

They said crews were able to extinguish the blaze.

Emergency services remain at the scene.

No-one is believed to have been inside the house at the time of the fire.
