What a response by the Superoos to last week's disappointing performance against Pyramid Hill. A huge 72-point win for the Superoos in the grand final re-match with Justin Maddern kicking four goals in his return game for the club.

Inglewood led by five points at half-time, but the Mean Machine kicked seven goals to two after the break to pull away for a 27-point win. Alex Powell slotted four for the victors and team-mate Cameron Ross won the best on ground medal in the Anzac Day themed match.

The Bombers don't lose too often at home, but they have copped a 70-point pasting off the Bulldogs in the grand final re-match. Former Bomber Joel Helman was best for the Bulldogs in their impressive trip north. Aarryn Craig, Brady Herdman, Ben Knight and Darcy Richards with three goals apiece for North Bendigo.

It took the Bloods until round 18 to win their first game last year, but they have an early win on the board in round two. Only just though, scraping past Huntly by three points after they had led by 18 at three quarter-time. After kicking eight goals last week, Romain Grenville slotted another four for the Bloods, as did Phil Ryan for Huntly.
