Newbridge footballer Joel Kennedy copped a seven match suspension at the LVFNL tribunal on Wednesday night.

Kennedy was found guilty of two striking offences from last Saturday's season-opener against Calivil United.
Neither incident resulted in a report on the day, but Calivil United asked for the incidents to be reviewed by the independent Match Review Panel.
After viewing the vision of the game, the Match Review Panel was unanimous in referring Kennedy to the tribunal.

The tribunal found Kennedy guilty of intentionally striking Calivil United's Nathan Ryan and suspended him for six matches.
As a result of the incident, Ryan suffered damage to his teeth and has been advised to not play contact sport for at least one month.
Kennedy had a further week added to his suspension after he was found guilty of carelessly striking Calivil's Recce Boland in a separate incident.
With Newbridge having the bye this week, the next match Kennedy will be eligible to play for the Maroons will be the return clash with Calivil United in round 10 on June 15.
