The 1000 Doors installation in Rosalind Park follows the duo's successful House of Mirrors display in 2017.
"It's been a four-and-half day set up period and the local crew have been absolutely fantastic and efficient and friendly," Mr Wagstaff said.
"We're so excited to have it open to the public from tomorrow at 2pm."
The large-scale installation looks at the idea of loss and memory through the use of doors and transitional spaces.
Bendigo is the third place after Melbourne and Auckland to showcase the 1000 Doors exhibition.
Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews and Member for Bendigo East Jacinta Allan joined the artists at the launch of the event in Rosalind Park.
"It really just cements Bendigo as one of the great cultural cities of our nation," Mr Andrews said.
"We've just been up at the gallery where the Tudors to Windsor show is on and we're really pleased to see so many people visiting each day.
"As we come into the busy Easter period, the school holiday period, there's no better place to be if you are an art lover.
"If you want to be pushed and questioned and challenged - and see beautiful things - Bendigo is absolutely the place to be."
The 1000 Doors instalment will be open to the public from tomorrow until April 28.
Tickets will be available for purchase at the on-site box office.
