Lachlan Schultz will become the second former Bendigo Pioneer to make his AFL debut this weekend when he lines up for Fremantle on Sunday night.
Originally from Moama, 20-year-old Schultz will play his first game against North Melbourne at Optus Stadium.
Undrafted after his TAC Cup career with the Pioneers, Schultz joined Williamstown in the VFL where he impressed as a goalkicking midfielder.
He was selected by the Dockers with pick 57 in last year's AFL National Draft.
Schultz was one selection behind another former Bendigo Pioneer - Marty Hore.
Hore made his debut for Melbourne in Saturday's loss to Port Adelaide at the MCG.

Playing in front of 38,866 fans, Hore played in defence and had seven kicks, seven handballs and two marks in the Demons' 26-point loss.
Dustin Martin was the best performed former Pioneer of the opening six games of round one.
Martin collected 30 possessions in Richmond's win over Carlton.
In the same game, Paddy Dow had eight kicks and 13 handballs for the Blues.
Geelong skipper Joel Selwood had 25 possessions and kicked a crucial goal in the Cats' win over Collingwood.
Premiership defender Tom Cole had seven touches in West Coast's loss to Brisbane.
