Police are investigating an assault on a man aged in his 70s that occurred in Echuca on Saturday morning.
The man was violently punched to the head and fell to the ground in the Pascoe Street area, sometime between 10am and 12pm Saturday.
He was taken to Echuca hospital for treatment.
The offender is described as a male with dark blond hair about shoulder length, wearing no shirt, black shorts and black runners.
