Stevens led the under-18 team to inter-league success against Ballarat in 2017 before falling to Hampden in Warrnambool last year.
The Kangaroo Fat under-18 coach will be back in charge of inter-league duties for this year's clash with Outer East in Bendigo on May 18.
BFL manager Cameron Tomlins said Stevens had put together a strong panel of assistant coaches.
Former BFNL under-18 representative David Stephens will take on assistant coaching duties, as will another past BFNL under-18 inter-league representative and Golden Square premiership player in Josh Baird.

Rounding out the coaching panel is Jason Thomas, who will provide players valuable knowledge from his experience with the Pioneers and AFL CV Academy.
"Regardless of results, Jason (Stevens) did a terrific job in 2018 and we are thrilled to have him back on board,'' Tomlins said.
"He runs a professional and well-structured program and will draw on his extensive experience to develop and lead the future stars of the BFNL.
"Jason will be keen to return to the inter-league winners' list and we have little doubt that the selected players will benefit enormously from the knowledge and experience he will share".
