Two Kyneton men have died after a crash at Lancefield on Saturday evening.
Investigators have been told a ute was travelling along Rochford Road just before 7pm when it crashed into a tree near Collivers Lane.
The driver, a man in his 40s from Newham was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The two passengers, a 31-year-old man and a 36-year-old man from Kyneton, died at the scene.
Detectives from Major Collision Investigation Unit are investigating the crash.
