Defence contractor Thales declined to comment on whether issues with its supply chain have affected Bendigo staff.

An issue with the supply of engines raised the question in February as to whether 150 staff might be stood down without pay during April.
The company reiterated its previous statement, made in February.
In February Senator Alex Gallacher asked the Defence Force land system's division whether 150 Thales staff had been told they would be stood down during April, as work could not continue without engine supply.
Major General Andrew Bottrell said Thales had not provided such information to him.
At that time Thales said some delays in the production schedule were unavoidable.
The company said it was working with staff, suppliers, unions and defence to minimise disruption to the production of Hawkei vehicles.
