The eager filly simply ran his 10 rivals ragged to break her maiden status at just her fourth start.
Her win came about four months after an impressive debut at the same track, when second behind the Tony McEvoy-trained Jentico, who followed up with a city win at Moonee Valley.
The filly was well-backed in betting and started a $2.90 favourite.
Maher said she had a high opinion of Lady Solly and headed to Kyneton with confidence following a recent second at Bendigo in the filly’s third start.
“She’s been a bit of work in progress – she still needs to learn a lot still,” Maher told broadcaster Racing.com
“I think the ear-muffs made a difference, just bringing her back that fraction.
“She did tend to want to over race at Bendigo, but I do have a high opinion of her and hopefully she can take that next step.
“We will have a lot of fun with her.”

Maher’s ‘high opinion’ was shared by jockey Joe Bowditch, who was aboard the O’lonhro-Recession Buster filly.
“She did a really good job; she just lost her back feet at the start, hence why she was a little slow out,” he said.
“She showed great speed, (but) is a bit of a hard-going horse – she’s still learning what it is about.
“But out in front she was able to switch off a bit and find plenty late.”
It was the 27th winner of Maher’s career and her first since Worthy Beneficiary’s victory at Geelong in late-October.
