A LOSS last weekend hasn't stopped the Bendigo East rink skippered by Lee Schraner from setting a new modern benchmark of shot dominance in BBD pennant.
Schraner's rink - which has also featured Rob Clough, Rod Pearce and Peter Huggard - ended the BBD weekend pennant home and away season last Saturday with a massive shot difference of +148.
Schraner's shot advantage had been up over 150 before suffering its first loss of the season when beaten by five by Eaglehawk's Darren Burgess in a clash of the competition's two top rinks.

Since 2005-06, Schraner's +148 shots in the home and away season stands out by far as the most in the competition, followed by Bendigo's Ian Ross in 2013-14, a distant 35 shots back with +113.
Before last Saturday's 20-15 loss, the Schraner rink had won its previous 12 matches by 11, 16, 7, 1, 11, 15, 5, 12, 21, 16, 26 and 12 shots.
Schraner's rink finished 60 shots clear of its nearest rival this season, the Hawks' Burgess, who was +88, followed by his Beasties' team-mate of Aaron Tomkins (+80).
