The plan for a deli-providore is contingent on the results of a planning application put to council for a liquor licence and parking reduction.
The pair have lodged a planning application for the premises of 51-53 View Street, adjacent to their current storefront.
The proposal is for a licence to use the land to sell or consume liquor and a reduction in the car parking requirements to zero.
The business would stock goods "complementary" to Harvest's existing house based goods, for instance charcuterie, cheese, terrines, take-home meal options and wine.
Mr Riley described the idea as "another string to the bow" of the existing business.
"The main focus is having a high-quality deli and take home food section," Mr Riley said.
"Ultimately our little business and Bendigo had been good to us in the first two and a half years and we feel that it’s time we could offer a complementary offer to our house based goods."

If the plans are approved, Mr Riley and Ms Busse will also use the area to expand their existing cafe space.
Mr Riley is "buoyant" about the View Street precinct as a whole. He said the quality and array of businesses made it a strong precinct, which both guests and locals visited.
"For me it has the potential. There are strong businesses here already," he said.
"There’s a good broad cross section of businesses in this street, we only want to continue to fortify that."
"We’re very excited with Bendigo pushing as a gastronomy centre, that we feel like we’ve got some great ideas that we can bring to the table for that."
He's certainly excited by the idea of a deli-providore, but Mr Riley has been in the hospitality industry too long to put a time frame on the project.
The exact layout of the proposed deli-providore is yet to be determined.
