Bendigo Kart Club hosted the season opener of the 2019 Golden Power Series at the weekend.
The race attracted entries from across Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia, with around 165 competitors getting behind the wheel during the two-day event.
Multiple BKC drivers finished the first round race with some top results.
Bendigo Kart Club president Matt Ferrari said the Golden Power Series opener hosted by Bendigo was a success.
“We had 168 entries compete over the weekend with plenty of spectators also in attendance,” Ferrari said.
“BKC had plenty of top results across multiple classes.”

KA4 Junior Light: James Ceveri 3rd, Ayrton Filippi 4th
KA4 Junior Heavy: Charlee Richardson 6th, Erin Richardson 11th
Victorian Combined Light: Matthew Ferrari 2nd
Victorian Combined Medium: Simon Pace 6th, Darryl Huggard 12th
Victorian Combined Heavy: Cameron Austen 1st, Marc Tune 6th, Jason Killcullen 12th
Victorian Combined Masters: Heath Jelbart 1st, Neil Chalmer 12th
