NEWBRIDGE ended its Upper Loddon Cricket Association season on a high with a 316-run thrashing of Boort-Yando on Saturday.
Boort-Yando only just got halfway to the unbeaten 200 made by Newbridge’s Taz Fitzallen on day one.
Chasing Newbridge’s monster 5-416, Boort-Yando was all out for 110.
In the only other game played in the final round, Arnold (108 and 6-94) defeated Serpentine (53).
Because of forfeits by Inglewood and Bridgewater, Arnold was the only one of the four finalists to play a game in the last round.
