Police have laid more than 40 charges against six men following raids over a series of burglaries in Echuca, Numurkah, Cobram and Yarrawonga in December and January.

Five of the men are from Echuca.
A 33-year-old man was charged with trafficking a drug of dependence, four counts of burglary, handling stolen goods, theft and theft of a motor vehicle, and was bailed to appear at Echuca Magistrates’ Court on April 2.
A 34-year-old will face court on the same day, charged with four counts of burglary, possessing methylamphetamine, dealing with the proceeds of crime, theft, handling stolen goods and firearms offences.
A 28-year-old was bailed to appear at Echuca Magistrates’ Court on April 30 on charges of possessing a prohibited weapon and possessing methamphetamine.
A 26-year-old remains in custody and will appear at court at a later date, charged with theft of motor vehicle, handling stolen goods, dangerous driving and committing indictable offences whilst on bail.
A 28-year-old man from Echuca was charged with one count of handling stolen goods.
A man from Kyabram, aged 28, was also charged. He will appear at court on April 30 on charges of possession of an unregistered firearm, handling stolen goods and possessing cannabis.
