They suspect he has head injuries but an Ambulance Victoria spokesperson did not have information on his condition just yet.
An ambulance arrived at the site after responding to reports a car had hit a tree.
Two fire trucks were also called to the scene.
The VicEmergency website has placed the incident at the intersection of McDonalds Lane and the Calder Highway’s Melbourne bound lane.
