Suncorp Super Netball teams will travel to Bendigo to play in a four-game pre-season series.
Melbourne Vixens will host West Coast Fever, Collingwood Magpies and Queensland Firebirds at the Bendigo Stadium.
Bendigo’s Caitlin Thwaites will return to the court with the Vixens, following a two-year stint with the Magpies.
“This is going to be the first time I step back out in the Vixens dress and to do it in the stadium where I grew up playing is something really special,” Thwaites said.
“Bringing elite netball to regional towns is such a great opportunity not only for us to meet the fans who travel far to see us, but for the young netball players to be able to see what is possible.”
Suncorp Super Netball is the premier league in Australia and includes teams from across the country with many athletes who have competed nationally.
The pre-season games will be held at the Bendigo Stadium from March 30-31, tickets will be available to Vixen members on February 4 followed by public tickets on February 6.

- 3pm: Magpies v Fever
- 5pm: Vixens v Firebirds
- Sunday March 31
- 11am: Fever v Firebirds
- 1pm: Vixens v Magpies
