UPDATE 1.20pm: Another fault has led to a hundreds more properties in the area losing power.
The fault on the Bendigo-Pyramid Road at Sebastian is affecting premises at Bears Lagoon, Bridgewater, California Gully, Campbells Forest, Eaglehawk, Jackass Flat, Myers Flat, and others.
Powercor says power to those properties should be restored by 4pm.
EARLIER: More than 500 premises are without power following a fault at Raywood.
The cause of the fault on the Bridgewater-Raywood Road is under investigation, Powercor says.
In total, the blackout is affecting 534 customers in areas including Raywood, Tennyson, Prairie, Sebastian, Neilborough, Kamarooka, Dingee, and others.
Powercor estimates power will be restored by 1pm Sunday.
The outage comes on a day when temperatures are creeping into the high 30s and low 40s across the region.
