Powercore has cancelled Wednesday’s planned power outages in the Loddon Shire after a heat health alert was issued for much of Victoria.

Arnold, Arnold West, Bridgewater on Loddon and Newbridge outages will not go ahead.
Temperatures are forecast to hit 44 degrees on Wednesday.
Powercor said in a statement that it carefully reviews all planned maintenance work on days of extreme heat.
“The safety of our customers and employees is our number one priority and we receive and monitor detailed weather forecasts from Weatherzone to help us manage the network,” the statement said.
“In most cases, this work is either cancelled or rescheduled to be completed before noon.”
Customers should have been informed about the change via SMS.
