A woman who refused to take further drug tests after being pulled over by the police twice within a few weeks has lost her licence for four years.

Melissa Hunt pleaded guilty in the Bendigo Magistrates’ Court on Monday to refusing to accompany police and refusing to provide an oral fluid sample.
Hunt was pulled over by police on July 23 last year and underwent a preliminary oral fluid test, which indicated the presence of an illicit substance.
But she refused to go with police for a further test, telling officers she was not well enough and had her dog with her.
On August 8, she was again pulled over and gave a test that indicated the presence of a drug, but again refused to accompany police.
She told police she had taken methamphetamine a couple of weeks earlier, and did not care if she went to jail.
On Monday, Hunt said she was upset at herself, and had abstained from drugs since the first incident.
As well as cancelling Hunt’s licence and disqualifying her from driving for the mandatory four years, magistrate Frank Jones also convicted and fined her $1000.
