The reliability and punctuality of Bendigo’s V/Line services during December was slightly better than the previous year, but failed to meet targets.

V/Line delivered 88.8 percent of services on time on the Bendigo line in December, 3.2 percent short of its target of 92 percent.
Bendigo’s V/Line punctuality was in line with the rest of the network, statewide 88.8 percent of services were delivered on time.

It’s a 4.4 percent improvement from December 2017, when 84.4 percent of services were delivered on time.
Reliability on the line was on par with previous months and the statewide average.
In December 95.9 percent of services were delivered on the Bendigo line, 0.1 percent below the V/Line target of 96 percent.
This meant 43 services were cancelled, out of 1008 scheduled.
Reliability was slightly below the year-long average. Overall in 2018, 96.6 percent of scheduled services delivered on the Bendigo line.
