
An 18-year-old woman will face court after she was detected drink driving with a passenger in the boot.
The Carisbrook probationary licence holder blew .114 on an evidentiary breath test on High Street, Northcote at 9am on January 1, police say.
She had four passengers in the car and officers say they discovered a fifth in the boot as they inspected the vehicle.
The driver had her licence suspended and car impounded.
She will be charged with drink driving, Probationary Licence Holder Carry More Than One Peer Passenger and Driver Carry Passenger Unrestrained in Part of Vehicle Designed for Carriage of Goods.
