A 24-year-old Long Gully man has been charged over an alleged stabbing in Long Gully over the weekend.
The man was interviewed yesterday, Bendigo Crime Investigation Unit’s Andrew Heazlewood said.
He was remanded in an out of session hearing and is scheduled to appear today in the Bendigo Magistrates’ Court, Detective Senior Constable Heazlewood said.

A man has suffered serious injuries in an alleged stabbing in Long Gully overnight.
Police were told the victim was walking on a walking track near Eaglehawk Road when a man approached him just after 11.30pm on Saturday.
The man demanded the victim’s phone and wallet, before stabbing him, police were told. The 35-year-old victim fled to a nearby service station, and emergency services were called.
He was taken to hospital with serious but non life-threatening injuries.
Police continue to investigate the incident.
