High St Xray contributed $5000 to The OTIS Foundation’s Christmas Appeal in lieu of giving traditional gifts to its referring doctors.
“Christmas is about giving to those less fortunate and High St Xray is very proud to be in a position to give back for the fifth year running by supporting such a worthwhile charity,” Cindy Clarkson, the radiology service provider’s customer relationship manager, said.
The OTIS Foundation is seeking to double the number of nights of accommodation it makes available nationally by 2021.
It currently provides almost 3500 nights of accommodation a year.
OTIS interim chief executive Lisa Farrar said the annual Christmas Appeal had even more meaning this year, in light of the charity’s goal.
“Every donation will help to achieve this target as well as offering a generous gift to a someone dealing with breast cancer to allow them to relax, reconnect and create special memories with family and friends in a beautiful property,” she said.
Donors receive a certificate, which can be personalised as a gift.
