“He said he didn’t like my long hair, so I said if you grow a moustache for Movember, I’ll shave my head,” Louis said.
‘We put all the funds we raised into one account and are donating it to the Leukaemia Foundation.”
Louis said he didn’t mind have a shaved head.
“It's feels so much better, it’s like an air conditioner is constantly on my head,” he said.
“I been growing it for about three years but it’s not very practical for my as a job diesel mechanic. The man bun gets knocked around when I’m sticking my head under the trucks.”
Louis encouraged others to get involved with fundraisers like Movember and Shave For A Cure.
“I’ve got another long-haired mate at work and will be encouraging him to do it,” he said.
“I really think others should have a crack at it, don’t be scared.”
