Capital Venues and Events manager David Lloyd said 18 months of work had gone into produce the 2019 season.
“(This) will be a fantastic range of performances for the whole community,” he said.
“We have contemporary dance, the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra coming back twice, Orcehstra Victoria and an amazing contemporary circus group called One Fell Swoop.
“There's something for everyone. We try and make the program as diverse as possible so as many people as possible can come along and enjoy what we have on offer.”
Indigenous company Bangarra Dance Theatre returns to Ulumbarra in February after selling out their first visit last year for their show Terrain.
Also in February, the Melbourne opera will bring its 40-piece orchestra and top soloists for a night of Italian opera.
Aerial group One Fell Swoop Circus will arrive in April with seven acrobats and 30 metres of rope for their By A Thread.
A night of soul music awaits audiences when The Sapphires play visits in May.
Comedy-drama Spencer – starring Jane Clifton and Roger Oakley – arrives in July followed by Bell Shakespeare’s tour of Much Ado About Nothing.
The Soul Food music season will be led by the Australian Chamber Orchestra Collective in March and the Sanguine Estate Musical Festival welcome concert in May.
In August, Orchestra Victoria’s 50th anniversary concert feature at Ulumbarra ahead of Marina Prior and the Victoria Welsh Choir in September.
The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra will perform a night of masterworks in November before a Christmas-themed show in December next year.
Community festival and events to be featured in various CVE venues include Bendigo Autumn Music in April, The Bendigo Writers Festival in August, the Bendigo International Festival of Exploratory Music in September adn the Bendigo Blues and Roots Music Festival in November.
