COLBINABBIN ripped through Goornong for just 21 in a blink-and-you-miss-it Northern United Cricket Association match all over inside 18 overs on Saturday.
Sent into bat at Colbinabbin, the Mountain Goats were skittled in a mere 12.4 overs, with the Colbinabbin rout led by Robert Stewart (5-6), who started the carnage on the first ball of the day.
In his cricket return Grant Weeks also chipped in with 2-0 from four deliveries for the Ducks and Matthew van Run finished with 2-4.
The Ducks took five overs to answer Goornong’s 21 with 0-23 – all up the game lasting just 106 of its allotted 480 balls.
Having started the season with three losses in a row, the Ducks have since won their past two.
• Raywood returned to form with the bat in a 65-run win over Calivil.
Having been bowled out for scores of 90 and 89 in their previous two games, the Foxes hit back with 9-177 batting first, set up by a half-century to Kale Hoggins (66).
It was a target that proved well beyond Calivil, which lost its last five wickets for 32 to be all out for 112.
• Bagshot inflicted Dingee’s first defeat of the season with a six-wicket win.
After dismissing the Blowfiles for 89, the Razorbacks recovered from 2-3 early to reach 4-90 in the 26th over and notch their second win.
• Heathcote forfeited to Elmore.
• Team records – Elmore (5-0), Dingee (4-1), Raywood (3-2), Bagshot (2-3), Colbinabbin (2-3), Goornong (2-3), Calivil (1-4), Heathcote (1-4).

UPPER LODDON
REIGNING premier Kingower continues to hold top spot on the Upper Loddon Cricket Association ladder after a strong bowling performance against Arnold on Saturday.
Defending 8-125 that featured a top score of 49 to David Rose in the clash of last season’s grand finalists, Kingower knocked over the Redbacks for just 67.
It was an ugly looking Arnold scorecard, with eight Redbacks’ players dismissed for three or less.
• Inglewood’s solid season continued, improving to 7-1 with a comfortable 58-run win over Bridgewater.
Chasing the Bulls’ 7-96, Inglewood passed its target three wickets down on the way to a final total of 8-154.
Just like he did against Bridgewater in the first round, Inglewood opener Nathan Johns (55) made another half-century.
• Wedderburn made its third score of the season above 200 in its 20-run win over Newbridge.
Led by 58 from Tristan Bayliss, Newbridge compiled 7-186 after being sent in, but it wasn’t enough as Wedderburn responded with 6-206 to end a string of three losses in a row.
• Boort-Yando kept Serpentine winless as it prevailed by three wickets.
After bowling Serpentine out for 97 on the back of Daniel Balzer’s 4-18, Boort Yando took 31 overs to reach 7-99 after it one stage fell from 1-45 to 5-49.
• Ladder – Kingower (42), Inglewood (42), Arnold (30), Wedderburn (30), Boort-Yando (24), Newbridge (12), Bridgewater (12), Serpentine (0).
